April 17, 2025

SB347 for Dental Medicaid Fee Increase passed the House of Representatives on Wednesday, April 16, by an overwhelming vote of 82-6!

The bill will increase fees to 60% of the 50th percentile of fees as published in the National Dental Advisory Service comprehensive fee report. If signed by the Governor, the increases will take effect on September 1. This legislation marks the first increase in dental Medicaid fees in 18 years.

Hats off to Rep. Julie Mayberry (R-Hensley) and Sen. Clint Penzo (R-Springdale) for shepherding this bill through the legislature!

The bill has been delivered to the Governor for final approval and signature. ASDA will update members on new information as it becomes available.
